Message: My condolences go out to the Hallwachs family. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.  My memories or Marvin were mostly around baling at our place.  It always seemed like it was the hottest days of the year when he showed up with the tractor, baler and wagons.  No matter what went wrong he always had a smile on his face and a laugh that made everything seem OK.  He will be greatly missed.

Message: Marvin was always more like a brother to dad than a cousin. From hunting and fishing to working hard together as they have all their lives. One could always expect a smile, a firm and sincere hand shake or hug every time you met with Marvin. He had a distinct laugh that would bringing out the best in everyone. This was most remembered while sharing several pots of hot coffee and great conversation with him. The mechanical skills he learned from Uncle Charlie and those he learned on his own, made him very sought after for consultation whenever anyone in the family had mechanical issues. And like with everything in his life, he never gave up until the problem was solved. Deborah, Harley and Bryon, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow and loss of your Father. He will be greatly missed. God bless you all,

Mark, Rae Lynn & Collin

Message: My condolences to the entire Hallwachs family.  It was nice to see some of you while I was there for my Mom's services.  I didn't know Marvin real well (great picture of him), but I remember his Dad (Charley) very well.  He worked on the first car that I bought while I was in High School and did work for my Dad.  Our lives intertwined a lot through the years.  Your family has endured a lot of losses and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Toni (Waliser) Smith
