Message: My heart goes out to all of Josh's family and every one of his friends. I didn't know Josh the best, all I do know was that whenever someone needed a shoulder to lean on he would be there, when you needed a friend to hear you he would listen, he was a great person, and amazing friend, and a wonderful dad. I've been thinking for days what to write because well I wasn't extremely close to him but he was a great person and my heart breaks knowing he's gone and now his baby girl will not get the chance to know how amazing he is <3<3<3

Message: Its truly a hard thing to say anything at a time of loss that will make anything better , but hearing all the good things about the person you lost can help you remember who they really were. I didn't know Josh all that well but the little time I did know him I found a truly amazing friend and person. He didn't even know me and was wiling to help me with anything I needed and I would've done the same for him. He is a very close friend to someone I love dearly , my girlfriend and best friend. We needed a place to stay for a few days while our place was getting ready and josh not even knowing me , meeting me for the first time opened his home to me and gave us a place to stay. Asked if there was anything at all he could do to help. Offered lots of times to help in anyway. I was nervous to stay there not knowing him but with no time at all I felt comfortable and like he truly cared. And he did! I told him probably a 100 times or more thank you and that it ment the world to me that he was wiling to do so much for someone he didn't know. Right away we started to have fun , laughed , played games , watched movies and the four of us didn't have a worry in the world. He opened my eyes and changed my views on certain things. Made me feel like a friend and was always very nice. For this I could never repay him. He always told my girlfriend no guy deserved her until he met me. He then must have felt as though he didn't have to worry about her anymore and we became even closer friends. I remember the first big snowfall we had I spent hours shoveling the driveway for him and he felt as though he owed me something , but he didn't realize how much all he did for me truly ment to me and impacted my life in so many ways. He told me so many times his door was always open to us and we could come over whenever, or if we ever needed anything to just ask. I'm 29 years old and I have met a lot of people in my life but very few as kind hearted, as giving and sincere as Josh. I feel lucky to have had him as a friend for the short period of time I did. I hope he knew how grateful I am to know him and for all he did for me and my girlfriend. For being such a good friend to her, always being there for her and just being himself. He always made us laugh when maybe I was upset or she was upset. He was good at putting a smile on everyone's face and everyone loved him for that and so much more. I too am a carpenter and I remember going over there to repay the favors he did for me and also to just help a friend work on his house. We had fun, he asked my advice on a lot of things and it really made me feel good about myself and I think he knew that. I was really looking forward to helping him finish the house. And if given the chance would still like to help finish it the way he had planned. I also got to know his brother really well and became very good friends with him. He is a lot like josh and I'm glad to have him in my life as well. I stopped by on Xmas and wished them a merry Xmas when I wasn't having the best start to my Xmas and Brian just like josh made things better made me look at the situation I was in, in a whole different perspective. My Xmas was awesome because of them two brothers. So thank you. Josh will never be forgotten and I could never say thank you enuf for what he did for me. What he did and always would do for my girlfriend. I can't say sorry enuf for everyone's loss or even know what to say. Except that you have an amazing family and two awesome people Josh and Brian.

Message: Sorry to hear about your loss. When lives are tragically cut short, many wonder what comfort can be offered to the families of the victims. Many are surprised to learn that both righteous and unrighteous people will be brought back to life in Paradise on earth, Acts 24:15. There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Message: You do not know us but my husband knew Josh through work. He said he was a wonderful young man. As parents who lost a 22 year old son in September we wanted you to know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Should you need someone or have questions, we want you to know that we are available to help you through this time. Please know that Josh is at peace now and will be forever with you and in your heart. If you feel weak, talk to him and never be afraid to let your grief express itself. We cannot ask why because we will never have the answer. I read something once that said God will tell me why when he is ready for me to know. God needs good people in heaven to carry out his work. Our sons are sitting with him now planning for a new day. Only the good die young. Please know that even when you feel alone you are not. There are hearts in Jamestown praying for you to make it through. Stay strong. The parents of Specialist Thomas Avery Doyle
