Sandra Tenequer, 71, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Sandra Jean (Little Ghost) Tenequer began her earthly journey on May 10, 1951, the daughter of Francis Little Ghost and Ruby Herald. Sandra was raised by her grandmother, Mary Agnes Little Ghost.  Sandra went to school at Wahpeton and Bismarck.  She had two children, Travis and Charlene Cavanaugh.  Sandra was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Roger Tenequer; grandchildren Trevor, Chantelle, Kasondra, Carlito, Kale and Reese; twelve great grandchildren; sisters Roberta Little Ghost and Cynthia Herald, Bonita Little Ghost and Carla Little Ghost; brother Richard Little Ghost; step mother Helena Little Ghost; aunties Elizabeth Little Ghost, Lorna Walking Eagle, Darla Thiele and Sheila, Adeline, Joan, June, Julie and Karen Blueshield; nephew Darion Demarce Sr.; uncle “Skippy” Phillip Longie; step children Michael Tenequer, Ronald Tenequer, Regina Two Hatchet, Jackie Tenequer, Diana Stickler and Roger Tenequer Jr.; brother-in-law Randal Mithlo and sisters-in-law Henrietta Koweno, Cassandra Mithlo, Pam Koweno and Sandra Koweno.

She was preceded in death by her son Travis and daughter Charlene; both parents Francis and Ruby; brothers Rodney, Robert, Francis and Byron Little Ghost and Harvey Herald; sisters Lesa and Eva Little Ghost and Glenda and Adlene Herald; grandparents James and Mary Agnes Little Ghost and Sarah Herald; aunties Ruth Herald, Violet Blue Shield, Rose Dubois, Laverne Little Ghost, Arlene Little Ghost and Melinda Thompson; uncles Ronnie Herald, Eugene, Jordon, Leroy and Lawrence Little Ghost and Ambose “Buddy” Longie; son-in-law Rudy Starr and step son Jeffrey Tenequer.

Wake will be Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, ND.

Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to St. Michael may gather on the St. Jerome’s road, Fort Totten, prior to 4:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael, ND.

Burial will be at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael, ND.
