Ardis Pepple
Ardis Jean Pepple 75, was the first daughter born to Adolph and Regina (Schramm) Pepple on March 28, 1947. She joined older brother Dellan and much later sister Karen and the family was complete.
She grew up for most of her elementary years on a farm east of Cathay. She attended country school and later the family moved north of Cathay to the family farm. She graduated from Cathay Public School.
She married Jack Graber on August 4, 1967 and to this union 2 sons, Rondy and Jered were born.
She married Ron Goodrun on March 19, 1999.
She loved to read, journal, and go camping. Her deep Christian faith sustained her as she dealt with mental illness her entire adult life.
She suffered a massive stroke, which ultimately took her life on April 13, 2022 in the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
She is survived by her sons, Rondy and Jered; her grandchildren, Dakota, Kelli, and Cole; and great granddaughter, Soran; and her sister Karen (Janver) Stucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Dell.
We rejoice that her suffering is over and she is at peace.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 11, 2022 at 1:30PM at the Cathay Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Ardis. We were classmates and shared the same last name.. but very distance relatives. We knew she struggled with some issues. We pray she has now found peace.
Karen – I am sorry for the loss of your sister. The difficulties presented to her in life are behind her, and because of her deep faith in God, she is now rewarded with peace in heaven along with your brother. Rondy and Jered – God loves us unconditionally, and I think that’s something your Mom believed deeply. So, I pray that God’s unconditional love will bring peace to all our hearts.
Sorry to hear of Ardis’s passing. Our sympathy to her family. Ardis was a classmate of mine. Rest In Peace. Leon and Penny (Riedesel) Mindt
Only went to Cathay High School my last 2 years. Graduated with Ardis, she was a good friend and classmate who was always friendly and cheerful to me. Will miss her.
