Jenny Thunder

Jenny Rainbow Thunder was born on May 8, 1977 in Sioux Falls, SD. Jenny made her way to the Spirit World April 7, 2023 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was an Enrolled Member of the Spirit Lake Tribe of North Dakota. 

Jenny leaves behind her mom Suzie Carole Rainbow, Spirit Lake Tribe.

Brothers: Brian Thunder, Bear Thunder, Van Thunder, Clifton Joe Rainbow and Adopted brother Craig Brown. Many relatives and friends.

Memorial & Celebration of Life in Jenny’s Honor are planned for a later date. 

Jenny made her own arrangements and are being honored as close to her requests as possible. Toksa Jenny. Fly High Rest in Paradise my girl, from Big Sioux.

  8. Aww Jenny, I’m still missing you so much. The phone calls we made to each other each day, I think we broke the record. I hope you made contact with your dad. I know you missed him. I hope you saw your grama Cecelia, I know you wanted to be buried with her, I hope that happens. I miss us singing Purple Rain to each other even though we couldn’t carry a tune. lol It was an honor that you asked me to take on such a big responsibility but I know now I made the right decisions for you. I hope you heard everything I said to you in your final hour of life. Thank God for M.S. for being there with you til the end. I’m happy I was there for you Jenny, I know you needed someone, I know you needed family. I didn’t want you to go through this alone. I remember you everyday. it’s the laughs I will remember the most. We always ended our calls with, “I Love You” so until next time Jenny, I Love You.

  11. my condolences to the family for Jenny, I knew Jenny a few years ago in grandforks nd,she was with my son for 2 years and we has fun together you will be missed greatly but you will have a great new life with our lord,God bless you ,it was nice knowing you
