Her presence will be greatly missed,I had the privilege to visit her and Betty with other Elders at GoodSam Elders home in Devils lake , we had fun, and soup and fry bread. and they shared stories. Be at peace Gloria.
You were a second mom to us, and will be deeply missed. the time we spent together this past summer was the best ever. Your sense of humor was always present, and I will forever cherish our talks. Love you Aunty. RIP
We were honored to witness Gloria’s spirit as a strong, hard working woman who was not afraid to speak when she had something to say. Gloria was instrumental in supporting and influencing the futures of those in our family who would receive continuing education and work in the field of education on the reservation. Gloria was kind to our mother, who highly respected her. She welcomed our mother into her home so our children could meet her. We are mindful of the great loss her passing leaves all her relatives, friends and the Spirit Lake Nation. May her good works continue to live on in all the lives she touched for the betterment of her people. With deepest sympathy.
I didn’t know Gloria but I know her great-granddaughter and love her as my own. When she hurts we hurt. May God be with you all.

Gloria was a remarkable woman, who I deeply respected and admired. I was so blessed to work for Gloria for six years, she taught me how to be professional. She was so good to me and to all her family. I’m so lucky I got to know her as well as I did. To all of Gloria’s family, I’m sending my deepest sympathy and prayers. I know Gloria will be greatly missed by her family here but I can almost hear her and her sisters laughing on the other side.
