James Martin Nevland, age 71, passed away late evening on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at St. Vincent Care Center, Bismarck, ND.

James was born on May 7, 1953, the third son of Jens and Esther Nevland in Carrington, ND.  James worked from early on in the field of concrete and steel until 1995 when he moved to Bismarck, ND, where he worked at a window company.  He then worked at Menards, where he retired.

James enjoyed hunting and fishing with his close friends in Carrington and joined a rock club in Bismarck.

James is survived by his brothers, Joseph in Oakes, ND and Jens Jr. in Kingman, AZ and nieces and nephews.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Jens and Esther Nevland, sister, Jean and brother, Jerold.

A Private Family Service will take place at a later date.
