  8. Patti and Paula, We always looked forward to seeing George in the spring when he came back from AZ. He loved to talk about the farm and the Garland family history. George was a good farmer, a good neighbor and an all around good person and friend. He could drive his tractor straighter than any modern auto steer. We will miss our many chats and visits at the mailbox. Prayers to all of you and may George Rest In Peace.

  17. Patti and Paula, sorry to hear about your Dad. Even though we only lived a mile apart as the crow flies, I didn’t really know your Dad, he was a quiet guy. I will echo what Larry Lura said about the straight rows that your Dad planted. My Dad always commented on them, to which my Dad would say ”there is more wheat in a crooked row”. I have fond memories of riding the bus with the 3 Garland girls. Patti, even though you were the first girl I ever kissed (last day of first grade” I’m sad that I was never on your “A list”. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
