  6. Dear Jennifer, I graduated with Kay Aaland Schremser from University of ND in the same class of 1971. I will miss Delores’s Christmas cards and letters telling me the family news and what she and Carl were doing. She never missed any year. I realized something was wrong when I didn’t get one. She told me of my mother’s Cousin Norman Aaland’s passing. She and Carl were my mother Johanna Meade Weeks’s favorite cousins. Mother’s Cousin Clarence Gardner of Missoula, Montana, who died in 2010 at the age of 90, liked them a lot too and went to visit. My mother’s sister Thelma Meade Vesley and my mother’s sister Edna Meade Anderson spent a lot of time with Delores and Carl in New Rockford. Carl was always the most helpful guy.
