Louis Allmaras
Louis James Allmaras, 60, of New Rockford, ND passed away at the family farm on September 26, 2023.
Louis was born to Jerome and Phyllis Allmaras on September 29, 1962. He attended the New Rockford High School and graduated in 1980. After graduating he primarily worked in construction doing renovations on homes. Louie lived in Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND, Siren WI, Panama City Beach, FL, and several other cities around the country, enjoying each one in their own way. He decided to return home and live at the family farm until the time of his passing.
Louie enjoyed watching football, his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. He also loved going hunting in the fall. Some of his favorite moments were when he and his son Dakota went on some of their famous road trips together. Louie especially enjoyed spending time with his family, whom he loved very much.
He is survived by his five children, Jasmine (Jerry) Job, Jordan (Breanne) Allmaras, Joseph Allmaras, Dakota Allmaras and Levi Allmaras; his 3 grandchildren, Makenzie, Landon, and Clayton; his siblings, Linda Allmaras, Janice Allmaras, Rebecca (Dom) Bianco, Paul Allmaras, Susan Allmaras, Laura Allmaras, Nancy (Bruce) Hitz, Judy (Gerald) Neis, Melissa Waldrup and Jennifer Allmaras and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louis was preceded in death by his father Jerome, mother Phyllis, sister Catherine, and brother Michael.
Louie’s Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 starting at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:00 PM all at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford, ND.

Good bye to you my trusted friend. Louie was always someone who protected the people he cared about. I have so many memories of Louie that I will cherish forever. My sincere condolences to his family and friends
I remember Louie having a smile that would light up the whole room. There was always laughter with Louie around. I remember him as being funny and a jokester as well. My condolences to you all. May God help you through this time of sorrow.
I’ve known Louie since first grade when we were the only 2 in our grade at the Munster Country School. We stayed friends throughout HS and although I haven’t seen him in many years, I have so many good memories of him. RIP. My condolences to the family.

I will always remember your smile and your laughter always brightened my day. Laughing at my silly jokes, just hanging out without you is such a terrible loss. You were always so kind and I’ve always loved you like family. Thank you Big Lou! For being a great friend. You’ll be missed and remembered always! Hey Louie! I know you’re in HEAVEN! You have a beautiful, kind and genuine soul. God bless your family Lou and may they find comfort in the Lord and have faith that we will one day see you again. Rest in peace Amen

Louis, is one of the first persons I meet when I relocated here . His warm smile makes you feel like you’ve been around here since time began.. I thank you Louie for all your wisdom you shared. And the love for his family was like no other!!

To the brothers and sisters of Louis Allmaras, I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Our mothers were great friends and our families were really close as we were growing up. Many wonderful memories. Sending heartfelt condolences and blessings to all of you.
Had a lot of fun with Louis and his extended family, between papa Artie Omie wild c Mike a Dave Dennis Dewy Gerri Ann and the rest the annual fishing trip and of course hunting trips getting to be dropped off at selmers t place and walking all the way to the ranch and always THE BIG DRAW, just a lot of fun from everybody especially Ramona and Louie and his athletic ability poppa etc co
