Prayers are being sent from the Mickey and Vivian Whetham and Corey Lesmeister families to Gladys’s families.
So sorry to hear of her passing, I know she so missed her husband. I so enjoyed caring for her at the Lutheran home and to have her as a neighbor at Watson addition. I went to school with most of you kids. Hugs to you all. 💔
Gladys was a shining light in the Peace wing at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd and took my mom under her wing without a second thought. She often told me that she was going to take her for a walk or a drive and sometimes when I would stop in to visit mom they would be walking or sitting together. I am so sorry for your loss, Gladys was such a kind soul and made everyone feel welcome in the Peace wing. She will be missed by many. Thank you for sharing her with us!!
One day shortly after mom was admitted to the Peace wing (2019) Gladys, mom, two other ladies and I were all sitting at the same table and one of the ladies said it was time to go somewhere. Gladys asked where we were going and nobody knew for sure where we were going, another lady asked who was driving and everyone said they couldn’t drive, so Gladys said that was fine, her husband would come and pick us all up and take us….. :0)
I’m so sorry…it’s so hard to lose our mothers….hugs and prayers my friends….
My sympathy to the family for your loss.
Gladys was a very special aunt to me and my siblings over the years. My condolences on your loss to all of her family.
