Rose was best known by family and friends for her delicious pie. Making candy baskets to give away at Easter and Christmas gave her a lot of joy, and she looked forward to this every year.

She is survived by five children, Faye (Kenneth) Schaubert of Sioux Falls, SD; Linda Lee of Fargo, ND; Les Gjerdevig of Carrington, ND; Roxanne Fougner of Fargo, ND; and David Gjerdevig of Shakopee, MN. She is also survived by her sister, Fern Brewster of Moorhead, MN; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; one brother, Alvin Amoth of Langdon; one sister, Emma Schatzke of Leonard, ND; and her parents, Guy and Dora Amoth of Langdon, ND.
