My precious sister blessed the world with her birth on April 23, 1972, this is the day a Legend was born in Fargo, ND. Margo made her transition into the Spirit World on November 7, 2023. Her exit from this world was untimely, sudden, unexpected, and shocking to all who knew Margo Lynn.

Margo is the daughter of Garry Gourd and Esther Abraham. She is a mother to five children. Her triplet boys, another son, and her daughter. Margo is the second oldest of her siblings born to Garry and Esther.

Margo loved life and was always willing to help others. She was an advocate for those in need of assistance. Margo overcame many obstacles in her life and is an example of resilience, perseverance, and determination. 

Margo enjoyed visiting friends and family, traveling, cooking, and baking. She was amazing in every way and was selfless in her time here on earth. She will be so dearly missed by us all. Margo worked for the Spirit Lake Tiwahe program and enjoyed her job assisting others.

Margo is survived by her children, Dion, Daniel, and Jennie Peterson; sisters, Jolene Crosswhite and June Gourd; nieces, Lexie and Angela Azure, Justice Yankton, Marissa Goodvoice, Hailey Crosswhite, and Rayanne Green; nephews; Lennox Azure, Jarrod Goodvoice, Jeffrey Lenoir Jr., and Austin Crosswhite.

Margo was welcomed in Spirit World by her boys, Michael and Joe Peterson; her loving parents, Garry Gourd, and Esther Abraham; brother, Loren Gourd; maternal grandparents, Jerome and Jennie Abraham; paternal grandparents, Jacob and Melvina Gourd; several aunts, uncles, and brother-in-law, Kalum Yankton.

Margo’s Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 5:00PM-7:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Dacotah Oyate Lutheran Church, Tokio, ND.

Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to Tokio, ND may gather on the four corners, Brown road 35th St., prior to 4:15PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00AM at Dacotah Oyate Lutheran Church, Tokio, ND.

  6. Aww my childhood bestie from Fargo. All through elementary and junior high. Will never forget her and the friendship we had growing up. I will miss her dearly. Rest In Peace my friend. Heaven has gained another angel. 🙏❤️😭
