Dear children of Jean Kulla,
Your mother was a wonderful county health nurse, always willing to help when asked. She was always very pleasant and kind to all whom she helped. She was missed when she left her position. May your precious memories of her take you through these difficult days ahead.
Jean always went above and beyond in her nursing career. She enjoyed helping people. Peace and comfort to her family.
I’ll always remember Jean. So many memories as a child and adult. She was an angel to many as she went the extra mile for her patients. She always had their best interest at heart. A good role model to myself & others throughout her career.
Big hugs to you all.
Jean was a very special lady. As Curt mentioned, I remember her driving a car load of us to Red Willow and other towns. She was also my Catechist teacher. There are many other events that I remember with Jean, Herman (Curly), and family. She will be missed.
I had the honor to work with Jean at the Foster County courthouse in the 90’s. She was such a special lady. Hugs to all her family.

I’m so sorry to hear about Aunt Jean. I was named after her <3 'Susan Jean' Betty Jane's daughter. She was a special lady indeed and I know Mom loved her very much. My heart goes out to her family.
Jean was a such great woman!! I admired her work ethic and family values. I’m sure many memories will be shared and remembered. Sending hugs and sweet thoughts to Herman and the family.
Jean was a very special lady, a great inspiration and someone that was willing to help others. She lived a long and fulfilling life leaving many memories for her family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Herman, her family and friends.
Wonderful person and a great nurse; even in retirement she still went around and attended to people who were in need around Kensal and the area. She always checked up on my mother Elizabeth in the senior living center in Kensal. Mom loved her dearly. She checked up on all the residents and was always there when she was needed. I am sure she did most of the time with no pay; just through the goodness of her heart. I will never forget her kindness and loving care for my mother.
May God bless her and give her a just reward in Heaven.
Condolences to all her family
Herman and family, So many wonderful memories of Jean. Can’t count the number of times I took my kids over to the house to get them checked out when they were sick. Such a great nurse and neighbor. She will be missed.
I had the honor of being her nurse once, she paid me and the other nurses some compliments, knowing how much she is respected as a nurse makes those compliments even more special. I know she will be missed by all.
Jean had a heart of gold and was loved by all. So grateful for all the trips she made to our farm to care for our Mother. May the memories comfort the family she loved so much.

Like everyone has already expressed, Jean will be missed by not only her family but also by many of her friends. Jean was always there for my mom, but she also was a nurse to my daughter, Anne, when she stayed at Grandma Ella’s. Both Jean and Herman are very dear family friends. Love, comfort and peace goes out to Herman and the family. Our Heartfelt Sympathy.
Jean was a true saint. She was a loving mother to a handful of beautiful women and one special son. I have been friends with Scott and his family for decades. Never was there a time she was too busy to ask about my life and my family. She always put faith and family first. Rest easy to a special lady and family.
Herman and family, I have such fond memories of Jean from when I was a little girl. She always had a smile and kind words for everyone. Her caring hands made everything a little better on unexpected sick calls. She was a treasure.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother, wife and grandmother. I heard many wonderful stories about her from her daughter, Kim. My thoughts and prayers to the family.
Jean was a wonderful person and good friend to me many years ago. Rest in Peace dear lady!
