Jerry Larson was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and brother. On Friday, March 5th 2021, at 73 years old, Jerry passed away at the CHI St. Alexius Health in Devils Lake, ND.

Jerry Marcus Larson was born on August 27th1947, to Irene Larson and John Larson at home. He grew up and went to school at Sheyenne, ND. During his time at Sheyenne Public School, he was a member of the football and basketball team. After high school Jerry joined the army and was deployed in Germany during the Vietnam war. After his time in the army, he returned to his hometown to reside with his wife Kathy.

During Jerry’s life he enjoyed many things such as fishing, playing basketball with his daughter, making people laugh, and winning at his favorite game – aggravation. He also liked listening to his records, collecting coins, going to the casino with his wife Kathy, and watching animated shows like Tom and Jerry or his favorite game shows.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, Sheyenne; daughter Angela Larson, Grand Forks; granddaughters, Carrie Larson and Keana Hagman, both Grand Forks; great-granddaughter, Carly Gunville; sisters, Shirley, Dolly, Jennie, and Bonnie; brother, Rodney, Sheyenne.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00PM all at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Sheyenne, ND.

  8. Sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I was a fellow student at Sheyenne, and know Jerry tried his best to accomplish what was expected of him. No other student lived further away from the school, but Jerry walked that distance every day without ever missing a day of school. What an accomplishment. He and Kathy were wonderful neighbors to both my grandmother and my parents. Rest In Peace.

We love you uncle Jerry.You were a great uncle and great brother too.Jerry always knew how to make people laugh.And was a pro at knowing just when to help someone smile when they were down.He was a joy to know as a person. Jerry will never be forgotten in the hearts of all who loved him.We love you uncle Jerry.
