Blaine Leftbear, age 46, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at his home in Tokio, ND.

Blaine was born on May 10, 1978 to Bonnie Leftbear and Robert Redroad Sr.  He graduated from Fourwinds High School in 1997.  He worked for the Spirit Lake Tribe, Spirit Lake Casino and was a fire fighter.  He was always helping anyone who needed it.  He loved playing basketball and watching his nephews play softball and basketball.

Blaine is survived by his mother, Bonnie Leftbear; sisters, Susan (Curtis) Leftbear, Cathy (Isaac) Leftbear, Roberta Leftbear, Samantha (Richard) Leftbear, Leann (Corey) Leftbear, Alicia Leftbear, Felicia (Andy) Leftbear, Jennifer (Delson) Leftbear, Kelly Redroad and Lisa Georgeson (Anthony); brothers, Robert Leftbear, Ryan Leftbear, Lanny Leftbear, Robert Redroad Jr., Casey Redroad and Robert Redfox; children, Brooke Redfox, Todd Richotte, Shandy Paul, Nikolas Langstaff, Nathan Langstaff, Trudelle Leftbear and Brayden Leftbear; uncles, Clarence Leftbear, Lincoln Redroad and Daniel Redroad; grandparents, Mona Leftbear, Gloria Redroad and Soloman Leftbear.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Robert Redroad Sr.; brother, Todd Yankton; sisters, Robin Thompson and Chris Redroad; grandmothers, Catherine Thompson and Bertha Demarce; grandfathers, Abraham Redroad and Frank Demarce; aunts, Maxine Paul, Sharon Onebear and Beverly Onebear; uncles, Russell Redroad and Michael Onebear; cousins, Michael Onebear Jr, and nephews, Geoff Leftbear, Kian Leftbear and Bol Dang.

Blaine’s Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Woodlake Rec. Center, Tokio, ND.

Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to Tokio may gather on the St. Jerome’s road, Fort Totten, prior to 4:15PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:00AM at Woodlake Rec. Center, Tokio, ND.

His Burial will be at the Bdecan Cemetery, Tokio, ND.
