Wade Kendal Nestell was born on July 25, 1979, the son of Daniel Nestell and Wanda Thomas. As a youth Wade attended schools of Sheyenne, Minnewaukan, Crow Creek, and Four Winds all of North Dakota, and ended up getting his GED. He worked various jobs at fast food places and restaurants as a cook in restaurants in Bismarck, ND, and other labor jobs. He met the love of his life, Roberta Brown and was blessed with six sons and one daughter. He loved to play basketball growing up and continued to enjoy watching his children play basketball as they grew up and was proud of all his children and later in life his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. Wade especially liked to spend time with all his cousins and friends he made throughout his life. He enjoyed reminiscing about things as he would say, “back in the day” or “those were the good ole days”. He always had a positive attitude, constantly joked around and loved to laugh and tease the kids and grandchildren. Wade had a loving connection with his grandson & granddaughter, Kaleb & Khloe Nestell, and truly loved all his children and grandchildren unconditionally. Wade also had a special connection with his aunt, Joyce Thomas whom he called his special mom. Wade was a loving son with a big heart, so caring and always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever asked of him. Wade will be missed dearly and made a profession of faith in his younger years. We will always cherish Wade in our hearts and leave him in God’s hands.

Wade is survived by his loving family, his mother, Wanda Thomas; his father, Daniel Nestell; sister, Leigh Nestell; brother, Alton Nestell; sons, Taylor Kalin Nestell (Castle Fox) & children, Audreya (Diamond), Zaya, Thalaeya, & Amaris (AJ), Kalen Nestell & children, Kalen Jr., Kayden, Aiden, & Adrian Nestell, Kobe Nestell & children, Kaleb, Khloe, and Kataya Nestell, Kenyon Longie (Rustina Kennedy) & children, Karina & Serina Longie, Leyton Brown, Wade Nestell Jr.; his only daughter, Winona Nestell; his special aunts, Joyce Thomas, Anna Thomas and Cindy Thomas; uncle, Adrian Thomas Sr. and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and all his grandchildren who he had a special bond with.

Wade is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard Sr. & Winifred Thomas; uncles, Mike Thomas, Richard Thomas Jr., Timothy Thomas, Casey Thomas, Milton Thomas Curtis Youngbear and Paul Yankton; aunts, Anne Rene Thomas, Cheryl Thomas, and Marylin Thomas, several beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces. Paternal grandparents, Stradford Nestell Sr. & Bernice P. Nestell of Anadarko, OK, and aunt, Ada Jo Nestell of Oklahoma City, OK.
