Alice Norton
Alice Faye Norton, a miracle at birth, was born prematurely on December 15, 1938. She could fit into a shoebox at birth and was the second oldest of Bertha and August Pahl’s children.
Alice was Baptized into her faith in God and a promise of eternal and everlasting life in Ely, Nevada in 1957. She was married to Dalton Christ Seibold in 1955 and together they raised 6 sons: Lorell, Ferron, Blake, Cameron, Derrick and Virgil. After Dalton’s passing in 1978, she married Robert E Norton in 1986, and her family grew by three more with Rhonda, Amy, and Robert.
As each child went on to build their families, her family continued to grow and be welcomed. Alice further realized that family is much broader than blood. For those who needed a sister, she was that. To those who needed a mom – she would be that. To those who needed a gramma – she would be that. And to anyone who needed a friend, she was that. When she needed family and friends, they came to be by her side. Recently, her ‘family’ again grew with the loving daily care from the Elderbee Home Care team, her dedicated Quality Service Providers, and the wonderful CHI Health at Home and Hospice Team.
Alice enjoyed life and making a happy home. She had many pastimes that she loved including cooking, baking beautiful cakes and other desserts, fishing and working on her many craft projects.
Alice is survived by her loving family. Bob, her husband of 38 years. Her 5 sons and their families. Lorell (Shaila) and their daughters Nicole (Andy), Carly (Clifton) and Marlee. Blake and his children Blake Jr, Dallas, and Jessica (Jason). Cameron (Doreen) and their children Sarah (Kevin) and Dean (Ellie). Derrick (Lois) and their children Devin (Jade) and Kelsey (Joel). Virgil (Michael) and their daughter, Anna (Ryder). Rhonda and her children Makenzie (Josh), Makayla (Zach), Ashlyn, and Shai. Amy (Dave) and children Natasha (BJ), Logan (Elvis), and Sakkara. Robert (Jen) and their children JoLyssa, Brekken, and BreLee. Alice was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dalton, her son, Ferron, her parents, father and mother-in-law, 4 siblings, and 1 great-grandchild.
Thank you to everyone who showed your love for Alice with your visits, cards, flowers, and prayers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to CHI Health at Home and Hospice in Carrington.
Alice’s Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2025 from 9:30AM-10:30AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30AM all at Faith Baptist Church, Carrington.
Her Burial will be at German Baptist Cemetery, rural Cathay, ND.
