Deloris “Toots” Rogers, 91, New Rockford, formerly of Norwalk, CA, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford.

Deloris Dockter was born October 11, 1927 at Regan, North Dakota, the daughter of Gottlieb and Josephine (Davis) Dockter.  The family later moved to Munster, ND where her father worked for the Munster Elevator Company.  She grew up and attended school at Munster.  Toots later worked at several different places in New Rockford.  She married Eulis “Bunk” Rogers on December 1, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  They made their home in Norwalk, California.  She worked at Carl Juniors (now Hardees) for several years and later did babysitting for area families.  In 1998 they moved to New Rockford, where she has lived since.  Deloris enjoyed many crafts, collected thousands of magnets and salt & pepper shakers.  She enjoyed playing bingo, watching wrestling on TV, and was an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan.

Deloris is survived by her husband, Eulis “Bunk” Rogers of New Rockford, her children Robert (Jan) Bonadiman, Fontana, CA, Sheryle (Chuck) Justice, Whittier, CA, and Rose (Ira) Black-Cohen, Rodondo Beach, CA, siblings, James (Eileen) Dockter, New Rockford, Marjorie Bohnet, New Rockford, Janet Banning, Williston, Helen Duda, New Rockford, and Shirley Pederson, Williston, 14 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four children, Carolyn, Barbara, Diane, and Linda, two great-grandchildren, Robert Jr., and Christopher, and siblings, Doris Wade, Ruby Eisele, Erma Christianson, Jennie “Dolly” Kaul, Vernon Dockter, Harold Dockter, Agnes Nokleby, and infant brother Albert Dockter.

Visitation will be from 12-5PM, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in the Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford, ND.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 2:30PM in the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd Chapel, New Rockford, ND.

Burial will be held at the Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
