Doris Thompson, 40, of St. Michael, ND passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Doris Thompson was born September 14, 1982 to Sheila Thompson and Randy Denne Sr. in Devils Lake, ND and attended school in Fort Totten.

Doris loved fishing, and spending time with her children. She especially loved being with her granddaughter, Rayah Thompson. Doris was fond of picking rocks to add to her collection. She enjoyed cruising around in her classic car and spending time with her wife. Doris was united in marriage to Rochelle Marie (LittleWind) Thompson on March 16, 2021.

Doris is preceded in death by her grandparents, Michael and Mary Thompson, Robert and Yvonne Guy; brother, Paul Thompson; best friend, Tree Cavanaugh and Loretta Whitebuffalo and uncle, Alden Guy. 

Doris is survived by wife, Rochelle Thompson; her parents, Cody and Sheila T Guy; sons, Michael Denne Sr., Grantly Dubois and Grailey Dubois; one daughter, Jenny Thompson; brothers, Robert Thompson, Randy Denne Jr., Joseph Little, Jeff White Shield, Cowboy Thompson, Richard DeMarce, Elton DeMarce, Todd Rough, Tylin Slaughter, Wensten Traclsty and Allen Little; sisters, Lovella Thompson, Mary (Joe) Azure, Candace Denne, Candace Thompson, Malissa Denne and Francine Whiteshield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chanelle Littlewind, Donalda Charboneau, Shanda, Danelle, Hallee Harllee, Harlan Jr. and Pamella Littlewind; special uncles, Robert and Michael Guy, Alfred Thompson Sr., James and BJ Little; numerous nieces and nephews.

Doris’ Visitation will be Tuesday, at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at St. Michael Rec. Center, St. Michael, ND.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 19, at 10:30AM with a final review at 10:00AM at St. Michael Rec. Center, St. Michael, ND.

Her Burial will be at the Thompson Guy Cemetery, rural St. Michael, ND.
