Brenda Whitetail
Remembering the life of Brenda Marie Whitetail, age 61, Parshall, ND began her journey to the spirit world on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND. She is the daughter of Sanford Whitetail, Sr. and Florence “Rita” Dunn-Whitetail born on November 18, 1961.
Brenda was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and cousin to an extended family. She loved her family with all her heart and treasured every moment spent with them. Brenda will be forever missed, forever loved, and forever in our hearts.
Brenda is survived by her special friend/companion Dale Crows Breast of 33 years. Daughters Tamara (Brent), LaToya, adopted son Geddy Whitetail and adopted daughter Rhoda Dunn; grandchildren, Shaylynn (Klint) DeMarrias, Shawnathan Marco, Kenyon, Kenroy, Cameron Maddie; great-grandson Lucas Georgeson; brothers Martin Whitetail, Sr., Mori Whitetail, Sr., and Merle (Maria) Whitetail; sister Lori (Mark) Faye Whitetail. Cousins Arnie Whitetail, Brian Whitetail, Richard Whitetail, Alberta (Ted) Dunn, Alfreda (Bob) Charboneau, Calvin Dunn, Maynard Dunn, Tayron Dunn, Colleen Alberts, Cora Whiteman, Catalina Herman, John Whiteman, Sr., Quentin Bruce Whiteman, Jr., Milo B. Whitetail, Sr., Emerald (Matt) Robertson, Cornell Good Thunder, Willis Whiteman, Jr., Marlon Whiteman, Annette Pacheco, Carol Whiteman, and Donna Corbine. Uncle Kenneth (Flo) Dunn.
Welcoming Brenda home are her parents, Sandford and Rita; brothers, Curtis Youngbear, Sandford Jr.; a grandson Keyden Whitetail and granddaughter Mya DeMarrias; maternal grandparents, Martin and Josephine (Ross) Dunn, paternal grandparents Winnie Spottedhorse, David Whitetail and many relatives.
Brenda’s Visitation will be Monday at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at the Ft. Totten Rec. Center, Ft. Totten, ND.
Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to St. Michael may gather on the St. Jerome’s road, Fort Totten, prior to 4:15PM.
A Final Review will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023at 10:40AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM all at the Ft. Totten Rec. Center, Ft. Totten, ND.
Her Burial will be at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Cemetery, Ft. Totten, ND.
