Message: Mom,
I cannot recall a memory without you. Baking my first batch of cookies, telling you about my happiest and saddest moments. You were in the car when every one of my children was brought home form the hospital, noticing tiny Mitchell holding newborn Tanias hand. I am so sorry your illness brought so much distance but will cherish our "adventures". We found everything there was to do in Bismarck. Thank you for being my mother, my friend, my cohort when we needed a casino run, my advisor at rummage sales. You spent a month taking care of the kids while I was in grad school and mixed canning salt with sugar--some tart cookies there mom! I do not know how I will go through the rest of my life not saying mom but am glad you are with those you love on the other side and that your pain is over. I so love you and goodbye, Denise

Message: Denise & Cheryl,
As a shy, quite kid in the neighboorhood, I remembering going up to your house and your mother always made my feel very welocme and at ease, with her warm smile and easy going attitude.
They say that time heals all wounds, but I know that a mothers love never dies. My mom passed away 17 years ago, sometimes I still find myself reaching for the phone to give her a call. I am sure you will miss your mom greatly, but take comfort in knowing that she will always remain close in your hearts.
A childhood friend and neighboor from 3rd Avenue South!
Cathy Ludwig-Anderson

Message: I got to know Joyce when she came to the Baptist Home. I work as a housekeeper. I looked forward to my visits with Joyce everyday. She always asked about my grandkids. She loved to hear my stories about them. She loved her snack food as she would send me on trips to the store to get her Cheez Balls. Joyce was a very special person . Loved to laugh and visit. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family.
