Message: Condolences to his family, Arlene and kids.  As a fellow veteran, God has called home another hero to stand guard over us as he did while in the Navy.  He was always willing to give a helping hand if needed.  I know he was a great help to my Mother and for that I say a big Thank You.  He was a great husband and father.  I was present when he and Arlene were married as a ring bearer.  I am sorry I was tired and sat down on the ring pillow, Gene was there to rescue the rings.  My life is better for knowing Ellis, he was a very good example to all to follow.  It should be a comfort to his family that he is at peace, but he will be missed greatly.  God bless you all.
