Carman A. Wollman, age 78, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, formerly Hurdsfield, ND, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family after being in ill health for the past two years.

Carman Azell Rhoads was born March 1, 1934, in Hurdsfield, ND, the daughter of Harold and Sybil (Workman) Rhoads.  She attended school in Hurdsfield and graduated with the class of 1952.   She taught school for several years until the time of her marriage.

Carman was united in marriage to Ervin Wollman on June 19, 1955 in Hurdsfield.  The newly married couple moved often because of Ervin’s work, but finding a church to attend was always important to the couple.

She had worked at Ernst Home & Garden in Customer Services, and then at Bowen Tools as a secretary while living in Rock Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Ervin Wollman of Rock Springs; two sons, Blake (Tammy) Wollman and Wade (Kayleen) Wollman, both of Rock Springs; one daughter Marlys (Mike) Sparks, Green River, WY; one sister Mary (Alvin) Braunagel, Bismarck, ND; two brothers, Dusty Rhoads, New Town, ND, Luther (Dorothy) Rhoads, Belfield, ND; Grandchildren: Mandi (Jason) Wyatt, Woodland, CA. Calvin (Roxi) Leischer, Rangely, CO, Nichole (Jake) Ribordy and Nate (Ellen) Wollman, both of Rock Springs, Brittany (Matt) Rushing and Natalee Wollman, both of Green River, Kyle (Erica) Wollman; Great-Grandchildren, Angelyse Wyatt, Cash Leischer, Cameron, Mackenzie and Noah Ribordy, Paxton Wollman, Hunter and Brooks Rushing; and several nieces and nephews.

Carman was preceded in death by her parents.
