Kyle Dockter
Kyle G. Dockter, age 41, of New Rockford, ND, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home in New Rockford. Kyle was born August 5, 1971, the son of James and Eileen (Haakenson) Dockter in Jamestown, ND. He was raised and educated in New Rockford. Throughout his life, Kyle had worked for several construction companies, most recently for Weisenburger Construction. He also helped Joe and Justin at Buck-Its in New Rockford. Kyle had an amazing sense of humor and was very quick-witted. He always had a smile on his face and was friendly to everyone he was around. He was kind, caring, and compassionate to those around him. Kyle didn’t have any hobbies that he participated in, but he liked watching the Denver Broncos play, tinkering in the garage, or making sure things were neat and organized. Kyle is survived by his beautiful daughters, Tia Davis and Kyria Dockter; his girlfriend, Georgia and her daughters, Tessa and Tori and Tori’s son Trestyn, who was Kyle’s little buddy; his parents, Jim and Eileen Dockter, all of New Rockford; one sister, Charlene (Tom) Gilliss, Waubun, MN; three brothers, Jeff Haakenson, Jamestown, James (Karla) Dockter and Terry (Colleen) Dockter, another brother-in-law, Joe Seiler, all of New Rockford; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; his sister, Kimberly Seiler, and nephew, Rodney Haakenson.
