Message: We are sorry to hear of his passing. It has been many years since we saw him or Arlean. When my mom was alive, (Eleanor Lipetzky Graupner) we always heard her talk about him and the family, and told us stories about him and her cousins, and we always enjoyed the times years ago when we would go back to North Dakota to see all the Lipetzky's and other relatives. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Message: My/our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you Arlean and all the family. Donnie always greeted you with a warm welcoming smile on his face.
I will always remember Donnie coming to our rescue when the limo we had rented ran out of gas near his farm. We had been out celebrating with Pat's family for his sister's, Kay Tanata, 50th birthday. We were on our way to Kensal when the limo ran out of gas. Donnie came to our rescue carrying a gas can. Of course, that was one of those times when the misquitoes were so bad. So I chased them away from Donnie's legs as he poured the gas. The next time we saw Arlean she had to tease me about keeping the misquitoes off of her husband's legs.
While your heart is in pain for his loss, hold on to the love he gave to you and your family. Donnie will always live in your hearts and remember to share all the wonderful memeories you have.

Message: Arlean and all the family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Our Texas hearts are breaking for your loss. Every time we came to North Dakota and headed north, even though mom was always so anxious to see her folks, we kids always had to stop at Donnie's on the way. Donnie and Arlean always welcomed us and we shared so many laughs. The stories that mom has shared with us about the good times the cousins used to have are priceless. She still tells us "you kids don't know how to have a good time." Donnie was always so much fun to be around and so forgiving- he never held a grudge about his mailbox being relocated by Merri and Linda. He was truly the life of the party!
Keep a song in your heart, through cheers and tears, memories will live forever.
Our Love to all of you! Miss you all!

Message: It was a very sad day yesterday when I learned that Uncle Donnie passed away. He was always so full of life. At our family get-togethers he was always organizing a ball game or good-naturedly teasing one of the kids (and sometimes his "city-slicker" brothers-in-law). We all enjoyed being around him because he made us feel special.
My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Arlean, Carol, Jane, Roger, Doreen, Bob and your families. While the pain of his loss will never go away, I know that the fond memories and great times you shared with him will shine through for you as they do for me.
Rest in peace Uncle Donnie. You left a great legacy with your kids and grandkids. You will never be forgotten.
