Patricia L. Emery, age 61, passed away of ALS on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Patricia was born on February 21, 1951, the daughter of Orville L. and Myrtle (Jones) Hawks in Butte, Montana. She lived in Great Falls, MT, prior to moving to Heaton, ND, where she lived for approximately 19 years. Pat worked at Golden Acres Manor for a time and later at Dakota Growers Pasta Company both in Carrington, ND. She was a cancer survivor who later was diagnosed with ALS in 2009. It was in July of 2009, when she moved to Carrington and resided at Golden Acres Manor. In September, 2012, Pat moved to Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Pat was well loved and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Gypsy Bourassa, Jamestown; two sons, George Evans, New Town, ND and Denver (Misty) Evans, Devils Lake, ND; five grandchildren; two brothers, Orville L. (Maurine) Hawks Jr., Sykeston, ND and George E. Hawks, Sydney, MT; one sister, Catherine M. (James) Malatare, Great Falls, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville L. and Myrtle Hawks.
