Jerald Sherman Erickson, 84, of Dillon, MT, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at his home. 

Jerald was born October 15, 1930, in Minnewaukan ND, to Ednar and Elenora (Rikansrud) Erickson.  In 1944, he moved with his family to Sheyenne ND. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  He served in the Air Force in the 1950's. 

He had lived in Montana, working for the State Forestry Department and area ranchers.

He is survived by two brothers Orville Erickson, Williston ND, Edwin (Sonja) Erickson, Palmyra, VA;  and two sisters Elida Kear, Bismarck ND, and Janice (John) McCann, Minot, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Myron, Lloyd and Elwood.

A private Graveside service was held Saturday July 25, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Grandfield Lutheran Cemetery, Sheyenne, ND
