Pearl Helliwell, age 100, of New Rockford, ND, died Monday, October 13, 2014, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford.

Pearl Louise Wilson was born on August 13, 1914, in Bordulac, ND, the daughter of Samuel and Olga (Johnson) Wilson. She attended school in New Rockford.

Pearl was united in marriage to John A. Helliwell on September 27, 1934, in New Rockford. They lived in many places including New Rockford, Williston, ND, Ogden and Roy Utah. John died on January 14, 1972. Pearl returned to New Rockford in 1991.

Pearl is survived by one son Ron Helliwell of New Rockford; two granddaughters Rhonda Pettis of Jacksonville, FL, and Nancy Eckhart of Spanaway, WA; seven great-grandchildren; one brother Donald Storwald of Jacksonville, FL.
