Jerome "Bud" Wolf
Jerome “Bud� Wolf, age 79, of Bordulac, ND, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at his farm. Bud was born on December 17, 1931, one of fifteen children of John L. and Margeret (Rensch) Wolf at the family farm near Bordulac, ND. He lived all his life in Bordulac, where he was active in baseball and basketball growing up. At the time of his death, Bud was the last surviving son from the family. On October 18, 1954, Bud was united in marriage to Caroline Reimers in Kensal ND. He farmed for most of his life and also did butchering for a number of years. Bud was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. Bud is survived by his wife of 56 years, Caroline; five daughters and five sons, Joanne (Jeff) Jensen, Carrington, ND, Rosemary (Gene) Wolf, Lakeville, MN, Michael (Lavon)Wolf, Minot, ND, Carol Molina, Steven (Christy) Wolf, Glen (Darby) Wolf, all of Fargo, ND, Jeremy Wolf, El Paso, TX, Sara (Scott) Chisholm, Eagan, MN, Amy (Rick) Nysted, Carrington, ND, Matthew (Sonja) Wolf, Dallas, TX; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five sisters, Amelia Nevares, Tacoma, WA, Eileen Hoffman, Ellensburg, WA, Pat Andes, Parshall, ND, Theresa (Jim) Straley, and Virginia (Art) Freeman, both of Carrington, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and four sisters, Betty, Lawrence, Syril, John A., Cecelia, June, Casper, Richard, and Rita.
