Alloyis “Buddy” Larson, age 84, of New Rockford, ND, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND.

Alloyis Larson was born May 10, 1928, on the family farm in Valhalla Township, Wells County, to Hans and Albertina (Mattson) Larson.  He attended Valhalla Township school and Benson County Agricultural School at Maddock.  He began farming with his father, and continued until 1978.

In 1979, Buddy began working for the City of New Rockford Water Department until his retirement. On June 29, 1979, Alloyis was united in marriage to Hazel Johnson in New Rockford, where they lived until her death on September 5, 2008.

He enjoyed fishing with his wife Hazel and listening to Twins Baseball.

Alloyis is survived by one sister, Vivian Barth, Bismarck, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel; his parents; two sisters, infant Florence and Alyce Anderson; three brothers, Lester, Kenneth and Roger.
