Patricia "Patty" Larson
Patricia “Pat” Larson, age 69, of Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. Patricia Marie Watson was born October 22, 1947, in Carrington, ND, the daughter of James and Betty (Taylor) Watson. She was raised on the family farm west of Carrington where her love for plants and animals began. She attended the one room Wyard Township country school. She graduated from Carrington High School in 1965. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Wallace (Wally) Larson, on September 4, 1966, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington. They started their family in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and in 1971 moved to Thief River Falls, Minnesota. In 1981, they moved to Jamestown, North Dakota where they found the perfect place to raise their family. It was important to her to build a house in the country with plenty of room for her family to grow. Pat’s favorite thing was to spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren grow. She always put family first and made sure they had a strong foundation. She loved to work in her yard; especially her many beautiful flowerbeds where she spent countless hours working meticulously. She also enjoyed cross-stitch, traveling, and time with her pets. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Wally, Jamestown; her children Evan (Dionne) Larson, St. Cloud, MN, Eric (Aymii) Larson, Atlanta, GA, and Renae (David) Peterson, Bismarck; 6 grandchildren; Benjamin, St. Cloud, MN, Alex and Nickolas, Atlanta, GA, and Jada, Andrew and Kate, Bismarck, ND; her mother Betty Watson, Carrington; and her brother Steve (Mary) Watson, Dallas, TX. Pat was preceded in death by her father James Watson, and grandparents.
