Joel Lenoir, Jr., age 29, of Ft. Totten, ND, passed into eternal life on Saturday, September 27, 2014, near St. Michael, ND. Joel Brian Lenoir, Jr. was born December 19, 1984, the son of Joel and Wanda (Charboneau) Lenoir, Sr, in Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND. Joel Jr. was engaged to the love of his life Britney Star Littlewind in Ft. Totten. He had worked at Walmart in Devils Lake and Grand Forks, ND, Spirit Lake Casino, Ft. Totten, M Bar D Railcar Tech of East Grand Forks, MN, and also worked construction in the area. Joel enjoyed fishing, working on computers, and playing his PlayStation 3, all with his children. He loved taking his kids for joy rides and to the park. Joel loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially loved spending time with his children and fiancé. Joel is survived by his children, Joel Lenoir III, Kylie Lenoir, Joseph Lenoir, all of Ft. Totten; his companion, Brittany Littlewind of Ft. Totten; his parents, Joel and Wanda Lenoir, Grand Forks; siblings Ashley Lenoir of Ft. Totten, Addison (Chrystal) Lenoir of Crow Hill, ND, Lacie (Ian) Laurie of East Grand Forks, James (Gabe) Lenoir of St. Michael, Samantha (Kurt) Lenoir of Minot, ND, Tabitha Lenoir of Gaylord, MN, Marie (Mark) Lenoir of Grand Forks, Brooke Capach of Dover, DE, and Joetta Lenior of Minot; Grandma Amelia Lenoir, Devils Lake, and Grandpa Tony Charboneau, St. Michael; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister Larissa Nichole Lenoir, Grandpa John B. Lenoir, Grandma Lorraine “Tootsie” Charboneau, and his auntie Alberta Charboneau.
WAKE & VIGIL SERVICE: Begins at 5PM Friday, October 3, 2014, with a Vigil Service at 8PM, all at St. Michael Recreation Center, St. Michael, ND MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Michael DATE AND TIME: Saturday, October 4, 2014, at 10:00AM BURIAL: St. Jerome's Catholic Cemetery, Ft. Totten at a later date. |

Message: Since you left..there's an emptiness. Everyday I wonder,Why did god have to take my dad away from me? I start crying everyday because I'm thinking of you and listening to your favorite song "Indian Car". That's my favorite song now. Everything you loved to do, I love to do now. Everybody calls me a mini joel because I know alot about computers and I know how to do alot of stuff with electronics, Thanks to you!! :) Without you I wouldn't know what to do with alot of stuff.
