Arlean Lipetzky

Arlean Lipetzky, age 83, of West Fargo, ND, formerly of Kensal, ND, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at Essentia Health, Fargo.

Arlean Caroline Jorgenson was born on August 1, 1931, in Carrington, ND, the daughter of Carl Walter and Anna (Norheim) Jorgenson. She attended school in Kensal and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1949.

On November 23, 1953, Arlean married Donald Lipetzky in Kensal, ND. They made their home on a farm near Kensal where Arlean was primarily a homemaker busy with her five children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, golfing and attending her children and grandchildren’s events. She and Don moved to Moorhead, MN in 2007. Don passed away in 2011 and Arlean then moved to West Fargo.

Arlean is survived by her five children Carol Anderson, Moorhead,  Jane (Walt) Nieland, Jamestown, Roger (Kim) Lipetzky, Moorhead, Doreen (Dave) Faller, West Fargo, and Robert (Tracy) Lipetzky, Carrington, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Lipetzky, her parents Carl and Anna Jorgenson, and two brothers Alfred and Dennis Jorgenson.

Message: As I go to school in Blenfield, I drive by your home place and think of the memories that I've had with you kids (Carol, Jane, Roger, Doreen, and Bob) and your special parents.  Just a few--B-day part for Roger in early grades, HS Sports, College visits to Mary and Boy's State to Fargo, and reminiscing with your parents at KHS reunions to find out about changes in their children's lives.  They always took the time to visit.  Sorry for your loss!
