Lee Lund
Lee Lund, age 78, of Carrington, ND, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford, ND. Lee Eivan Lund was born on October 12, 1934, the son of Eivan and Bessie (Burgess) Lund in Devils Lake, ND. He attended school in Minnewaukan, ND. On July 1, 1954, he married Arlys Duda, in Sheyenne, ND. They later divorced. Lee farmed, worked road construction and was an over the road truck driver for many years. On April 25, 1975, Lee was united in marriage to Mabel Nysted Rindy in Sheyenne. Lee is survived by his four children, Charlotte Eversvik, Fargo, ND, Robert (Teresa) Lund, San Angelo, TX, David (Julee) Lund, George, IA, and Allan Lund, Cathay, ND; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Nysted, Carrington, ND; sister-in-law, Lois (Glen) Meyer, Bullhead City, AZ; sister-in-law, Arlene (Darwin) Rodacker, Carrington; brothers-in-law, Gordon Beach, Carrington, ND, Leroy Miller, Bullhead City, AZ, and Don Miller, Gwinner, ND; many cousins; and special friend of the family, Linda Kleinsasser. Message: I knew Lee when he and I were in grade school together and we were neighbors. We had birthdays in the same month and neighbors all got together on those months.
