Virginia March
Virginia March, age 83, of Carrington, ND, died Monday, October 12, 2015, at her own home in Carrington. Virginia Dee Linderman was born December 15, 1931, in Carrington, ND, to Homer and Celia (Garland) Linderman of Barlow, ND. She grew up near Barlow, attending country school, and then graduating from Carrington High School. She worked at the Register of Deeds office in Carrington.
Virginia was very active in the community by giving of her time and energy for many worthy causes. She was involved in the Cathay Royal Neighbors, Sunshine Homemakers, Wells County Democratic Women, Carrington Senior Citizen Club, Cathay United Methodist Church, Carrington Health Center Auxiliary, Carrington Federated Church and Carrington Square Dance Club. Virginia was a 4-H and MYF Leader, as well as a Sunday School Teacher. She shared her life and faith with many. Virginia had many personal interests and talents that included painting, sewing, and cooking. Family and friends considered Virginia to be a great cook; she was famous for her Apple Crisp. Virginia is survived by her husband, Chuck, after sixty-six years of marriage; two sons, Bruce (Nancy) of Sauk Rapids, MN, Wayne (Rhonda) of Williston, ND; one daughter, Gail Lashman of Carrington; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Linderman; her son-in-law, William Lashman; and two great-grandchildren.

Message: Please accept my sympathy in your loss. I enjoyed Virginia's visit to the Hospital gift shop when I was working and she was doing the coffee cart. She was always so pleasant and I thought the cookies she made were the best. We will miss her.
