Wallace McLeod, age 96, of Sheyenne, ND, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Bridger Care Center, Bozeman, MT.

Wallace Ashford McLeod was born on June 21, 1917, to Malcolm and Blanche McLeod at Grand Rapids, North Dakota. They moved to Maddock, ND, in 1925, where they farmed until 1931, and then moved to Divide, ND, to continue farming.

He served in the anti-aircraft division of the US Army from 1942-1946.

On November 14,1942, Wallace married Nora Myhre at Sheyenne, ND, and they lived on the family farm. To this union 2 sons were born; Blayne Wallace and Jimmy Darrell.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Blayne (Barbara) and Jimmy, all of Bozeman, MT; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth; and his wife, Nora who died August 14, 1986.
