Message: Condolences & short story:

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My deepest sympathies go out to the Schultz family.

I'll always remember Mike for the hit he put on me one time during Junior High football practice over at the old city park by the Courthouse. I was trying to tackle Mike, I was crouched, waiting for Mike - he was coming right at me. Mike hit me so hard, I literally "saw stars" for a few seconds - no, I didn't make the tackle :-). I was reluctant to try tackle Mike again :-)!
