Lisa Nihill
Lisa A. Nihill, age 41, of Devils Lake, ND, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Lisa Nihill was born in Carrington, ND, June 16, 1975, the daughter of Diane Reis and Stuart Chadwick. She attended Fessenden for her early years of school, and high school in New Rockford, where she graduated in 1993. Lisa met the love of her life, Bob Nihill, in 1997, and then attended and received a degree in Criminal Justice from Jamestown College. Lisa was united in marriage to Robert Nihill on May 22, 2002, in Las Vegas, NV. Lisa and Bob made their life together first in Mandan, ND, where Lisa worked at the Boys Ranch, then moved to Minnewaukan, ND, where she worked as the T.A.N.F. Officer in Fort Totten, ND. Later, they moved to Devils Lake, where Lisa greatly enjoyed working for Ramsey County Juvenile Court as a Probation Officer until illness forced her to cut back on her duties. Lisa enjoyed spending time with family and friends while camping, and being outdoors and fishing with Bob. She loved card making, scrapbooking and scrapbooking weekends with her family. She always enjoyed games with her nieces and nephews, and always brought them to gatherings. Lisa enjoyed taking vacations with family and friends, and making boxes for the Shoe Box Ministry on weekends with her family. Lisa is survived by her husband of 14 years, Bob Nihill, Devils Lake; mother, Diane (John) Odstrcil, Carrington; sister, Lynn (Mark) Oster, Ray, ND; brother, Brayden Odstrcil, Carrington; grandparents Paul (Janice), New Rockford; father Stu (Sherri) Chadwick, Glen Ullin, ND, nephew Nickolas, and nieces Lydia, Madelyn, and Natalie Oster of Ray; Ashley, Abby, Aaron, and Austin Neumiller of Carrington; in-laws Patrick and Gertie Nihill, Kensal, ND; sister-in-law Billy (Shawn) Neumiller, Carrington. Lisa is preceded in death by her uncle, Curtis Reis; grandparents Herald and Jean Chadwick.
