Robert La Trace, age 75, of New Rockford, ND, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford.

Leslie Robert La Trace was born March 9, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Howard N. and Bertha (Burns) La Trace. Robert served in the US Navy for 15 years, and held the position of Chief to the Admiral, in addition to also being Chief Radio Officer. Robert was a veteran of the Korea and Vietnam wars.

After his discharge, Robert lived in Ontario, California, prior to moving to Jamestown, ND. He had also lived in Fargo, ND, for a time. He entered Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in September of 2010.

Robert was an avid USC fan. He is loved and will be missed by his family.

Robert is survived by one brother, Richard (Georgia) La Trace, of Mobile, Alabama.
