Natalie Saint, age 74, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, in the Griggs County Care Center in Cooperstown, ND.

Natalie Noelle Nelson was born at the Carrington Hospital in Carrington, ND, on February 13, 1943, the daughter of Chester and Gwendolen (Jones) Nelson. Natalie grew up in rural Glenfield, ND, and attended grade school in one-room country schoolhouses. She graduated from Glenfield-Sutton High School in 1961, and then later attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND.  

Natalie married Gerald Eidem on June 29, 1963, at the Glenfield Lutheran Church. They had two children, Renae and Steven. Natalie and Gerald divorced in 1981, and Natalie returned to the Glenfield-Carrington area. Natalie met Randy Saint, and they were married on May 30, 1985. They divorced in 2001.

Natalie worked as a secretary in Minnesota and in Carrington for most of her life. She later worked as a telemarketer in Cooperstown. Natalie entered Griggs County Care Center, Cooperstown, in 2013.

She enjoyed doing crafts, which she shared with her family. She also enjoyed cats, flower gardening, and watching TV. Natalie’s favorite saying was  “Remember to thank God for the Sunshine”

She is survived by her daughter, Renae Eidem, The Bronx NY; her son, Steven (Robin) Eidem, Marietta, MN; brother, Bryce (Gladys) Nelson, Montevideo, MN; 3 sisters, Madelyn (Charles) Haring, Garretson, SD, Sharon (R. Morgan) Davis, Glenfield, and Debbie (Gordy) Johnson, Fordville, ND; sister-in-law, Connie (Earl) Behm, Valley City, ND; 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Royce Nelson and Thomas Nelson.
