Lester "Joe"Schuldheisz
Lester "Joe" Schuldheisz, age 72, of Carrington, ND, died Monday, February 1, 2016, at Sanford Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, ND. Lester Kenneth Schuldheisz was born to Rudolph and Ida (Reich) Schuldheisz, on September 30, 1943, in Jamestown, ND. He was one of six children. Joe graduated from Jamestown High School and served in the United States Army following high school. Joe was united in marriage to Jeannine Dutoit in Washburn, ND, on June 29, 1968. Their union was blessed with three sons and one daughter. They later shared the gift of thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joe had many diverse interests throughout his life. He enjoyed gardening, shooting pool, fishing, camping, and hunting with his family. He could be found camping and fishing at Devils, Barnes, and Ashtabula Lakes. Joe was a skilled Handy Man, as well as working with computers. He had a passion for country music, John Wayne, and Elvis. Joe loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and great-grandchild. He enjoyed time spent with all of his family. Joe is survived by his wife, Jeannine; sons, Kenneth (Stephanie) of Valley City, ND, Gary of New Rockford, ND; and daughter, Lynn Schuldheisz of Carrington; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister Marlys Hollingsworth, Everett, WA; step-father, Harold Ratts, Jamestown; in-laws, Jama (Edward) Duncan, Tucson, AZ, James (Janet) Dutoit, Washburn, Jack (Kathy) Dutoit, Bismarck, ND, Carol Dutoit, Fargo, Pat (Kelly) Kost, Bismarck, Debbie (Jim) Ryan, Augusta, GA, Phyllis Schuldheisz, Courtney, ND, Patti Schuldheisz, Jamestown; Aunt Edna Carson, Hilo, HI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Schuldheisz; parents, Rudolph Schuldheisz and Ida Schuldheisz-Ratts; brothers, Eugene Schuldheisz and Curtis Schuldheisz; sisters, Arlene Wenzel, Sharon Lutman; brothers-in-law, Ernie Hollingsworth and Dick Dutoit.

Message: Oh my, it was so many years ago that I met Joe. I was so happy to see that found his love and had a wonderful family.
I knew him early on just after I graduated from high school. Yes I fell in love with him.. But it just wasn't meant to be. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband (also a veteran) in 1999. We had 5 children, but blessed with only 2 granddaughters. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
