Daryl Snyder
Daryl G. Snyder, age 67 of New Rockford, ND, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 4th, 2012 at Sanford Health Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. Daryl Gary Snyder was born December 16, 1944, to Leo and Adeline (Groen) Snyder at Breckenridge, MN. He grew up at Wyndmere, ND, and received his education at Wyndmere Public School. He then served in the Army from 1962 to 1964 as a Radio Signal Operator. Daryl worked at several gas stations in North Dakota as a mechanic. Daryl was united in marriage to Ardyce Rae Zweigle on January 10, 1971, at Harvey, ND. They moved to Montana and lived in several communities where Daryl worked in grocery stores as a meat cutter. He began working as a Federal Meat Inspector in 1997, at Sioux Falls, SD, transferring Fargo, ND, Worthington MN, Minot, ND, and then New Rockford at North American Bison Plant until his retirement in 2009. Daryl was a member of the American Legion Post 0153, Wyndmere, VFW Post 9070, Colfax, ND; Moose Lodge 822, Minot, Eagles Aerie 2923 and Central North Dakota Steam Threshers, New Rockford, and the North Dakota Horseshoe Pitching Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, working with his Ham Radio System, and cheating at cards with his many nieces and nephews. Daryl will be remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Ardyce; one sister Leola Heyen, Bismarck, ND; one brother, Dennis (Judy) Snyder, Chester, MT; 2 sisters-in-law, Cathy Snyder, Shelby, MT, Faye Snyder, Soperton, Georgia; 1 brother-in-law, Kenny (Cari) Jacobs, Mandan, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was greeted in heaven by his parents Adeline and Leo Snyder; brothers, Donald Snyder and Duane Snyder and sisters, LaMae Jacobs and Lois Kuruc.

We are saddened by the death of Daryl.
I will never forget all of the times over the years that both you and Daryl made me smile and laugh. You both treated me as one of your own family and I have allways considered you both as Uncle and Aunt.
I am sure he is up there with Dewy and other frinds right now making everyone laugh with one BS story or another. May you be comforted with the warmth of family and friends though this time.
