Melody Tufte

Melody Tufte, age 8, of Carrington, ND, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at her home.

Melody Kathleen Tufte was born May 9, 2008, in Devils Lake, ND, the only daughter of Brandon and Dawn (Chepulis) Tufte. She loved playing with her dog, Buddy, and spending time with her brothers. She thought of herself as one of the boys! Melody greatly enjoyed baking cookies, as well.

Message: My condolences to your family on this tragic loss. I am a truck driver from Hamiota, Manitoba, Canada. I was leaving Carrington around 4:30 am that tragic morning and saw the blaze, hoping it was just a shed on fire and not someone's home. Later that day I found out what had happened. Going through Carrington will never be the same to me, I will always remember that 3 beautiful young children were taken way too soon.
