Dylan James Turcotte

Dylan J. Turcotte, age 15, of Chanhassen, MN, passed away Sunday, June 23rd unexpectedly.

Dylan James Turcotte was born April 1, 1998, to Jewel (Ferguson) Turcotte and Duane Mata in Burnsville, MN.  He was a student at Chanhassen High School.

There was not a day that went by that Dylan did not want to be with his friends, whether it was hanging by the pool, playing his video games or just chillin.   We can picture him with his 62 inch big screen TV, controller in one hand, Mt. Dew in the other, surrounded by his friends, watching him play "Call of Duty".

Dylan was known for his groovin sense of style that showed his creative and unique personality that we all came to love.  Dilly's smile was infectious and anyone and everyone he met he shared his caring love.

Dylan loved his family dearly and had a special bond with his mother.  The two could often be seen together. Dylan loved his mom's homemade mac and cheese, playing baseball, hanging with his cat Whiskers and he was anxiously waiting to get his driver's license.

Dylan will be dearly missed by his mother Jewel, brothers Nathan and Tory, sister Kelsey, all of Chanhassen, MN; grandparents James and Marlys Ferguson, New Rockford, ND, step grandparents Dick and MaryEllen Turcotte, Chanhassen, MN, and his father Duane Mata.  Also left behind are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and many dear friends.

Dylan was preceded in death by his grandparents Dick & Lucille Mata, Mankato, MN.

Message: Dear Turcotte Family,

I would just like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you.  I know that there probably isn't anything that I can say that would soothe the pain you feel.  But please know that you are in my prayers, and know that God understands how you feel and will provide comfort.  The Bible teaches that God is love and that children are rewards, gifts, that he lovingly gives to parents.  You can be sure that God would never ever take Dylan, your beloved gift, from you because that would be cruel and unloving. (1 John 4:8; Psalms 127:3; Job 34:10)  Our Heavenly Father has lovingly promised to reunite us with our dead loved ones by means of a resurrection on a paradise earth filled with peace, happiness, and perfect health for everyone in the very near future. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:11,29,34; Isaiah 33:24)  May these precious promises from God's Word the Bible bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time.  My deepest sympathy to you.
