Rosemary Zink

Rosemary Zink, age 56, of Waianae, Hawaii, formerly of Carrington, ND, passed away at her home on June 25, 2014, with family and under the care of hospice. Rosemary Zink was born on April 20, 1958, to E. Eugene and Rachel (Gaffney) Zink in Carrington, ND. After graduating from Carrington High School, she attended North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton, ND, graduating with an electronics degree. Rosemary worked in various locations in ND, Colorado, California, and Hawaii throughout her career. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, spending winters in Hawaii, and most of all spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Rosemary will be remembered for her compassion to live for the day and enjoy the flowers.
Rosemary is survived by four brothers, Cletus (Linda) Missoula, MT, Tim (Mary), James, Paul (Rosanne), all of Carrington; two sisters, Teresa (Marc) Svartoien, Freeman, SD, and Susan (David) Stickney, Oshkosh, WI; her friend Gary Hembruch, Saskatchewan, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Mark.

Message: Oh!!!! We just got the Carrington Independent today and read the sad news about Rosemary. We are so sad to learn of this news.
Rosemary was one of "my favorites" at the Carrington pool.
Such a nice young girl! and such a good swimmer!!
Know that we are thinking of you and your family.
I'm sure this is a really hard time.
