On May 23, 1942, Marian wed Arnold Berg at the Lutheran Parsonage in Starkweather, ND. They lived at Webster, Edmunds, Sheyenne, New Rockford, Fessenden, Bowman, ND. Arnold and Marian lived in Webster, SD and Fairfield, MT before moving to Carrington in January, 1985. Marian worked at the Busy Bee in New Rockford, the nursing home in Bowman, and had daycare in her home in Carrington.

She enjoyed playing pinochle, bridge and bingo. Marian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and she was a regular at Senior Citizens all in Carrington.

Marian is survived by her husband, Arnold; two daughters, Linda (Curt) Meth, Kingfisher, OK, and Patricia (Allen) Stock, Carrington, ND; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great, great-grandchildren; one sister, Maureen (Don) Schultz, Lakeville, MN; and one son-in-law, Larry Krueger, Manfred, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Alice; three brothers, George, Vernon, and Lyle; one daughter, Sheila Krueger; and one grandson, Carlo Meth.
