Deborah Gallagher, age 52, of Carrington, ND, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at her home surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Deborah Evangeline Powers was born on September 14, 1958, the daughter of Bernard C. and Ethel E. (Foust) Powers in Columbus, MT. She was raised in Absarokee, MT, and graduated High School in Joliet, MT in 1977. Debbie served in the US Army at Fort Lewis, WA.

She married Reynaldo Rodriguez on November 27, 1980. They moved to Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. In 1988, Debbie moved back to Montana where she spent four years in Colstrip.

On September 26, 1992, Debbie was united in marriage to Dale C. Gallagher and moved with her children to the Pingree/Carrington ND area.

Debbie was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Carrington, active in teaching Sunday School and church related community activities.

She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, dedicated to her husband and children, and to sharing her love of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Dale; one son, Reynaldo (Dierdre) Rodriguez, Northglenn, CO; two daughters, Sarah (Micheal) Fread, Gwinner, ND and Amanda (Jared) Overson, Anchorage, AK; three granddaughters, Eden Fread, Lucia and Francesca Rodriguez; one sister, Lorraine (Steve) Hoffman, Anchorage, AK; one brother, Lincoln Powers, Bozeman, MT; many other beloved friends and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
